New Delhi, March 26, 2025: The Ministry of Defence (MoD) hosted a brainstorming session with 50 MSMEs and start-ups to boost defence innovation. The discussions centered on creating an environment conducive to technological advancements, improving procurement processes, and incorporating new technologies into defence manufacturing.
Officials emphasized supporting MSMEs and start-ups in the defence sector, with plans to ease their participation in contracts. This initiative is part of India’s broader strategy to promote indigenization and reduce reliance on foreign defence suppliers.
