Islamabad, April 17, 2025 – Pakistan’s Information Minister, Attaullah Tarar, has accused Imran Khan’s party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), of fostering internal divisions and engaging in disruptive politics. He labeled PTI as “Tehreek-e-Inteshar” (Disruption Party), claiming its activities harm national interests and that it has consistently opposed national institutions.
Tarar further pointed to internal conflicts within PTI, referencing alleged communications between PTI spokesperson Raoof Hasan and Imran Khan’s sister, Aleema Khan, which discuss internal disagreements and the spread of false narratives. He argued that such disinformation campaigns reflect the party’s challenges in maintaining unity and discipline.
