
Yamunanagar, April 14, 2025 – Haryana’s first Compressed Biogas (CBG) plant, inaugurated by Minister Manohar Lal, is poised to play a key role in managing organic waste and generating clean energy. The plant, which converts agricultural and urban waste into biogas, supports the GOBARDhan initiative aimed at promoting waste-to-energy solutions and sustainable practices.
Minister Manohar Lal emphasized the plant’s importance in reducing waste and lowering Haryana’s carbon footprint. He noted that the CBG plant will help meet the state’s clean energy goals, providing a significant boost to environmental conservation and renewable energy production in the region.
