The Chief Minister expressed his condolences to those affected and directed authorities to provide immediate medical assistance and ensure the safety of pilgrims. “The situation in Prayagraj is under control,” he stated, emphasizing the government’s commitment to managing the large crowds and preventing further mishaps. An inquiry has been ordered to determine the cause of the stampede, and additional security measures are being implemented to ensure the smooth conduct of the Mahakumbh.
