Prayagraj, February 3, 2025: The Mahakumbh Mela in Prayagraj has witnessed an enormous gathering, with over 350 million devotees taking a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam since its commencement. The Uttar Pradesh government expects the total number of pilgrims to surpass 450 million by the end of the festival, solidifying its status as the world’s largest religious gathering.
The event has drawn international devotees from Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, and the USA, highlighting its global spiritual significance. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath participated in the rituals along with his cabinet ministers. Authorities are now preparing for Mauni Amavasya on February 9, which is expected to attract an even larger crowd.
