
Prayagraj, February 13 – More than 1.47 million devotees participated in the Mahakumbh, taking a holy dip at the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers. Pilgrims, saints, and tourists gathered in large numbers to seek spiritual purification, while authorities implemented strict security and medical measures to ensure a smooth and safe event.
As the world’s largest religious gathering, the Mahakumbh featured sacred rituals, prayers, and discourses led by revered saints. The Shahi Snan (royal bath) was the main highlight, performed with great devotion and traditional fervor. Officials reported well-managed sanitation, transportation, and crowd control, with even more devotees expected in the coming days.
