Prayagraj, February 24, 2025: Uttar Pradesh authorities have registered 13 FIRs against 140 social media handles for spreading misleading content about the Maha Kumbh Mela. Police officials, led by DIG Vaibhav Krishna, are taking action against those circulating objectionable videos and misinformation.
Ahead of Maha Shivratri on February 26, security measures have been tightened to manage the large influx of devotees. Over 350 personnel have been deployed at Ayodhya Dham Railway Station, with designated holding areas set up to prevent overcrowding and ensure public safety.
