Hyderabad, March 29: Mad Square, directed by Kalyan Shankar, has made a strong impact at the box office since its release on March 28. With positive word-of-mouth, the film is running successfully with decent occupancy in both Indian and overseas markets. The makers announced that the movie grossed ₹20.8 crore worldwide on its opening day, with impressive collections of $650K from overseas alone.
A sequel to the 2023 hit Mad, the film features Sangeeth Shobhan, Narnne Nithin, and Ram Nithin in lead roles. With music by Bheems Ceciroleo and a special song by Reba Monica John, it has been produced under the Sithara Entertainments banner. The movie has already sold over 2 lakh tickets on BookMyShow, with audiences calling it a complete summer blockbuster and a fun-filled entertainer.
