The event featured an eye-catching performance with multiple dancers dressed as the AI doll, moving to Britney Spears’ “Oops!… I Did It Again,” setting a playful yet eerie tone for the film.
Directed by Gerard Johnstone and starring Allison Williams, M3GAN 2.0 explores deeper themes of artificial intelligence and its societal impact. Williams, who returns as both lead actress and producer, noted that the film draws inspiration from M3GAN’s unexpected cultural influence, especially within the queer community.
