Kurnool, April 21, 2025: The previous YSRCP administration has been criticized for ignoring road maintenance, resulting in poor conditions and frequent accidents. In contrast, the current coalition government has prioritized road infrastructure, holding discussions with the central government and securing substantial funds to support national highway development.
Significant progress is now underway on the 340B National Highway between Somayajulapalle in Orvakal Mandal and the Gooty highway near Dhone in Kurnool district. This stretch is expected to greatly ease commuter woes. Dhone MLA Kotla Jayasurya Prakash Reddy has been actively pushing for faster completion through frequent meetings with highway officials. The coalition government continues to monitor the project closely to ensure timely completion.
