Varanasi, April 11, 2025 — Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Varanasi, highlighted the massive development that has taken place in the city over the past 11 years. He stated that projects worth ₹50,000 crore have been brought to Kashi, transforming it into a modern urban center while preserving its spiritual and cultural heritage.
Adityanath credited PM Modi’s consistent efforts and vision for the city’s transformation, citing improved infrastructure, enhanced tourism facilities, and better connectivity. He also noted that Varanasi has become a model of holistic development, blending tradition with modernity, and attracting global attention.
