MUMBAI: Kangana Ranaut stirred controversy with her recent comments about Uddhav Thackeray following the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) alliance’s defeat in the Maharashtra elections. In a pointed remark, she called Thackeray a “demon,” reflecting her anger towards his leadership after the Shiv Sena split.
Her comments were aimed at the perceived political betrayal by Thackeray, who lost power after a faction of Shiv Sena, led by Eknath Shinde, broke away and formed a new government.
Kangana, a vocal supporter of Shinde, expressed her disdain for Thackeray’s handling of the party and its alliances. She believes the MVA’s failure is a result of the leadership’s instability and manipulation.
The actress’s remarks highlight her strong political stance and her support for the current Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Eknath Shinde, who replaced Thackeray after a dramatic shift in the state’s political landscape.
