Srinagar, February 17, 2025 — Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha assured that the Indian Army is providing a “befitting reply” to Pakistan’s provocations along the Line of Control (LoC) amid rising tensions and cross-border firing. He emphasized the army’s readiness to safeguard the nation’s sovereignty and security against continued provocations.
Sinha further reaffirmed the government’s commitment to maintaining peace and stability in the region. He stated that any attempts to disrupt security would be met with a strong response, following recent escalations along the LoC, which remain under close surveillance.
