J&K Phase 1 Assembly Polls Live Updates: The first phase of polls to elect members of the 90-member Jammu and Kashmir assembly is taking place on Wednesday, September 18. Twenty-four constituencies in seven districts are voting today in the first Assembly election in 10 years. In the first assembly election since the abrogation of Article 370 in August 2019, over 23 lakh voters will choose from 219 candidates.
