New Delhi, February 6, 2025 – ISRO has set new dates for its highly anticipated space missions. Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh confirmed that the Gaganyaan mission, India’s first human spaceflight, will launch in 2026, sending three astronauts into low Earth orbit. ISRO’s Chandrayaan-4 mission, focusing on lunar exploration with a sample return capability, is now planned for 2027.
In addition to these, India is preparing for the Samudrayaan mission in 2026, which aims at deep-sea exploration. These missions are part of ISRO’s broader goal to enhance its capabilities and further solidify India’s position in global space exploration.
