Singapore, March 24, 2025 – Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal addressed the High-Level Dialogue on ‘Navigating Global Maritime Trends’ at Singapore Maritime Week, where he emphasized India’s maritime initiatives under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership. These efforts focus on improving global connectivity, strengthening supply chains, and enhancing the Ease of Doing Business (EoDB) in the shipping sector.
Sonowal also shared India’s commitment to sustainable maritime development, with a focus on Green Shipping Corridors and expanding its shipbuilding industry. He emphasized that India’s approach, rooted in Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, is designed to create a green, secure, efficient, and inclusive maritime future.
