Porbandar, April 14, 2025 – In a major anti-smuggling operation, the Indian Coast Guard seized narcotics worth ₹1,800 crore from a vessel near the Gujarat coast. Acting on intelligence input, the Coast Guard intercepted the suspicious boat in the Arabian Sea off the Porbandar coast and discovered a massive consignment of drugs on board.
The seized narcotics are suspected to include heroin and other contraband substances. Authorities have detained several individuals involved and launched further investigation into the international drug trafficking network. The operation underscores the Indian Coast Guard’s vigilance in safeguarding the nation’s maritime borders from illegal activities.
