New Delhi, April 4, 2025: The Quad nations—India, the US, Australia, and Japan—have pledged over USD 20 million in humanitarian aid to Myanmar after a devastating 7.7-magnitude earthquake on March 28. The disaster caused significant loss of life and destruction, worsening the country’s humanitarian crisis.
In a joint statement, Quad partners expressed condolences and committed to providing relief, including medical aid and logistical support. They also urged all parties in Myanmar to uphold temporary ceasefires to ensure the smooth delivery of life-saving assistance.
