New Delhi, May 30, 2025 – Maruti Suzuki India Limited has announced a strategic collaboration with the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) to promote and support startups from both India and Japan. The partnership aims to create a robust innovation ecosystem by facilitating cross-border business opportunities, knowledge exchange, and market access for emerging startups in the mobility and related sectors.
As part of the initiative, selected startups from both countries will receive mentorship, industry exposure, and the chance to co-develop technologies relevant to the automotive industry. Maruti Suzuki’s innovation programs will provide these startups with a platform to work on real-world challenges, while JETRO will extend support through its extensive business networks in Japan. The collaboration is expected to further strengthen Indo-Japanese economic ties and drive innovation-led growth.
