    India Insists on Respectful Talks, Rejects Dialogue with ‘Gun to Forehead’

    New Delhi, May 31, 2025 – Indian Minister of External Affairs Shashi Tharoor firmly reiterated India’s position on diplomatic engagement with Pakistan, stating that India does not support dialogue under coercion or threat. Speaking at an international conference on regional security, Tharoor emphasized that genuine dialogue must be based on mutual respect and the absence of intimidation.
