Ali, known for films like Rockstar and Jab We Met, takes on the roles of creator, writer, and showrunner for the project. The announcement, accompanied by a cast script-reading session, has generated significant buzz.
Described as a modern love story with a vintage soul, O Saathi Re is produced by Window Seat Films and Reliance Entertainment, with Arif Ali directing. Filming is scheduled to begin later this month, and the series will stream exclusively on Netflix upon release.
