New Delhi, March 8, 2025 – IIT Madras has partnered with industry leaders and Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) to offer employability-focused courses on SWAYAM Plus. An MoU has been signed with institutions like Sathyabama University, Thiagarajar College of Engineering, and Sri Venkateswara University. The initiative aims to integrate SWAYAM Plus courses into HEI curricula, with over 2,500 learners already enrolled and a target of 10,000 students.
SWAYAM Plus currently hosts 350 courses from 50+ industry players, focusing on skill development in higher education. Industry partners will provide career-oriented courses, approved by IIT Madras’ Programme Implementation Committee, enhancing practical learning and certification opportunities.
