New Delhi, April 18, 2025 – IIT Delhi undergraduate students have received a record 850 unique job offers in the current placement season, surpassing last year’s 781 offers. Major global recruiters like American Express, Google, Microsoft, and Texas Instruments, along with Indian firms such as Meesho, have contributed to this milestone. The number of offers is expected to rise further as the season continues.
Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) like Bharat Petroleum and Indian Oil have also hired IIT Delhi graduates. Additionally, international organizations from countries such as Japan, the Netherlands, and the US have extended offers. An exit survey revealed that 30% of 2024 graduates chose paths like entrepreneurship, higher studies, and competitive exams, instead of traditional placements.
