Bijapur, February 15, 2025: A CRPF jawan was injured in an IED blast during a counter-insurgency operation in Bijapur, Chhattisgarh, an area known for Maoist activities. The jawan was promptly taken to the hospital and is reported to be in stable condition.
The blast occurred during a search operation in the dense forests of Bijapur, where security forces were tracking Maoist insurgents. IEDs are frequently used by the rebels in the region, and the security forces have launched a search to capture the attackers.
