He dismissed speculation about being declared the chief ministerial candidate for the Maha Yuti coalition, stating that his government has implemented positive changes and increased employment opportunities. Shinde described himself as a “team leader,” asserting that everyone in his team is equal and focused on the state’s development.
Eknath Shinde responded to Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge’s suggestion against making free promises beyond the state budget, stating that Congress only knows how to take but not how to give. He emphasized that their financial aid goes directly to the people’s accounts, adhering to Reserve Bank and central government guidelines. Shinde expressed confidence that the Ladli Behna scheme will yield positive results for the Maha Yuti coalition in the upcoming elections, criticizing the opposition for not understanding the government’s development initiatives aimed at benefiting the public.
