Guntur, January 31, 2025: Guntur Municipal Corporation (GMC) Commissioner Puli Srinivasulu has instructed field surveys in all wards to assess properties for taxation and identify unassessed ones. He emphasized improving property and water tax collections during his inspection of Nallacheruvu, Namburi Subhani Colony, and Sivaraman Nagar. He urged ward secretaries to work towards 100% tax collection, focusing on under-assessed properties.
Srinivasulu also stressed quality in ongoing development projects and urged officials to meet deadlines. He identified drainage issues and instructed clearing of construction debris blocking roads. Sanitation officials were tasked with ensuring full waste collection and cleaning of drains. The inspection was attended by key GMC officials, including Corporator Adaka Padmavathi and Revenue Officer Madan Gopal.
