Mountain View, April 8, 2025 – Google has started rolling out its Gemini Live feature to Pixel 9 and Samsung Galaxy S25 users, offering real-time screen and camera sharing with the AI assistant. This new tool enables users to show live visuals for object identification or context-aware assistance, marking a significant step in enhancing AI interactions on mobile devices.
First introduced as “Project Astra” during Google I/O, Gemini Live supports 45 languages and is being launched in select countries for users aged 18 and above. Though it’s a free update, access to the feature requires a Gemini Advanced subscription. The feature has also been spotted on other devices like Xiaomi phones as part of its phased release.
