
Bengaluru, February 15, 2025: ISRO Chairman V. Narayanan has reiterated that Gaganyaan, India’s first human spaceflight mission, is the agency’s top priority. With multiple test flights underway, including Test Vehicle Abort Missions (TV-D1 and TV-D2) to ensure astronaut safety, ISRO is focusing on crew module development, launch safety, and astronaut training.
Narayanan confirmed that the first crewed Gaganyaan mission is set for 2025, following uncrewed test flights in 2024. He also highlighted ISRO’s commitment to sustainable spaceflight technologies for future deep-space missions, marking a significant step in India’s space exploration ambitions.
