Hyderabad, May 30, 2025 – Nandamuri Balakrishna was honoured with the NTR National Film Award at the Gaddar Awards 2025, recognizing his outstanding contributions to Telugu cinema and the legacy of his father, N.T. Rama Rao. The ceremony also served as a tribute to the late revolutionary singer Gaddar, in whose memory the awards have been instituted.
The films ‘Balagam’, ‘Baahubali 2’, and ‘RRR’ were declared the best movies, applauded for their storytelling, technical brilliance, and cultural influence. The Gaddar Awards emphasized artistic excellence with social significance, positioning themselves as an important celebration of Telugu film and cultural values.
