Mumbai, May 28, 2025 – The Maharashtra School Education Department has extended the registration deadline for FYJC admissions 2025 to June 3 due to technical glitches that affected students and parents at the start of the process. The official portal, mahafyjcadmissions.in, crashed under heavy traffic from over 15 lakh users but was fixed, and registrations resumed on May 26. This extension gives candidates more time to apply for Class 11 admissions in Science, Commerce, and Arts streams.
This year marks the launch of a centralized online platform to manage admissions across 9,281 junior colleges in Maharashtra, aiming to ensure transparency and simplify seat allocation. Students must complete their registration by filling the form, paying fees, and submitting applications through the website, with officials advising early completion to avoid last-minute problems.
