Lucknow, March 5, 2025: Uttar Pradesh Police have filed an FIR against Ansal Properties and Infrastructure Limited (APIL) for fraud and land-related violations, following CM Yogi Adityanath’s directives. The case accuses APIL promoters Pranav Ansal and Sushil Ansal of selling mortgaged land, encroaching on government property, and neglecting essential utilities in their projects.
With APIL facing insolvency proceedings over a ₹257 crore loan default, CM Adityanath has ordered FIRs in all districts where complaints exist. He has also set up a committee with the Lucknow Development Authority and homebuyers to ensure strict legal action.
