Mumbai, December 6, 2024: Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has announced that he will request the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to expedite the investigation into the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Speaking to the media, Fadnavis expressed concern over the prolonged investigation and emphasized the need for clarity and justice in the high-profile case.
Fadnavis, who had previously raised questions regarding the circumstances surrounding Rajput’s death, reiterated that it was essential for the CBI to quickly resolve the case to provide closure to the actor’s family and fans. “We will urge the CBI to fast-track the probe and bring the truth to light,” Fadnavis said, adding that the public and Rajput’s supporters were eagerly awaiting justice.
The investigation into Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, which occurred in June 2020, has seen several twists and turns. Despite the CBI taking over the case, numerous theories and speculations have surfaced, with many calling for a deeper probe into the circumstances leading to his tragic demise.
