Mysuru, April 2, 2025: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has petitioned a special court to quash the Lokayukta report on the Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) scam, citing discrepancies that could affect its money laundering probe. The agency insists on an independent investigation into the alleged irregular land allotments and financial mismanagement.
The MUDA scam, involving illegal land deals and misuse of public funds, has triggered multiple probes. The ED contends that the Lokayukta’s findings may interfere with legal proceedings, with the court set to hear the case soon.
