AP Cabinet Meeting key Decisions :
The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet meeting has concluded. Under the chairmanship of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, the cabinet session lasted for three hours at the Secretariat. Several key decisions were approved during this meeting. The cabinet has approved the distribution of three free gas cylinders under the “Deepam Scheme.” It has been decided to distribute free gas cylinders to women starting from Diwali. Each woman will receive one cylinder every four months, totaling three gas cylinders for free in a year.
This initiative is expected to significantly benefit women from low-income families, making cooking more affordable and accessible. The government aims to ease the financial burden on households, especially during the festive season, by providing these essential resources. This decision aligns with the state’s ongoing efforts to empower women and improve their living standards.
In addition to the gas cylinder scheme, the cabinet also discussed other developmental programs and welfare initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality of life for citizens in Andhra Pradesh. These initiatives are part of the government’s broader strategy to promote social welfare and economic growth in the state. The cabinet’s approval of such schemes reflects its commitment to supporting the underprivileged and ensuring that essential resources are available to all.
