New Delhi, January 4, 2025
Delhi experienced dense fog for the second consecutive morning, disrupting air traffic and causing significant delays at the Indira Gandhi International Airport. The thick fog led to the diversion of 19 flights and the delay of over 200 others, severely affecting both domestic and international travel.
Airport authorities issued advisories to passengers, urging them to check their flight status before heading to the airport. The dense fog also caused low visibility on the roads, leading to slower traffic and increased risk of accidents. Travelers and commuters are advised to remain cautious as weather conditions are expected to remain challenging throughout the day.
