Amaravati, April 19, 2025: The Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) is working on the development of infrastructure for the Amaravati Government Complex (AGC). With tenders for main buildings already completed, the focus is now on finalizing models for roads, water supply, ducts, and greenery, with plans to select an architectural agency soon.
Spanning 1,575 acres, the AGC will feature key government buildings, including the Legislative Assembly, Secretariat, and High Court, along with residential areas for officials. The design also includes gardens, canals, and parks, with the Krishna River flowing through the complex. The CRDA is inviting bids to revise designs initially created by London-based Foster & Partners.
