Vijayawada, February 8, 2025: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu clarified that the performance rankings of Ministers, based on file clearance, were introduced to promote healthy competition and expedite governance. Naidu ranked sixth, while Ministers Nara Lokesh (IT & HRD) and Pawan Kalyan (Deputy CM) ranked eighth and tenth, respectively. The rankings, Naidu stressed, are not meant to demote anyone but to encourage better performance across the Cabinet.
Focusing on governance, Naidu highlighted efforts to rebuild systems dismantled by the previous regime, implement welfare schemes like pension hikes and Anna Canteens, and boost infrastructure and investments. Urging teamwork and a “People First” approach, he acknowledged the need for continuous improvement and reaffirmed his commitment to addressing public issues and fulfilling the ambitious “Super Six” promises.
