CM Chandrababu Naidu’s Brother Nara Rammurthy Naidu Dies
Nara Rammurthy Naidu, the younger brother of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and a former MLA, has passed away due to health complications. Upon learning about his brother’s deteriorating health, Minister Nara Lokesh, son of Chandrababu Naidu, immediately canceled all his scheduled programs and rushed to Hyderabad. Rammurthy Naidu had been undergoing treatment at a hospital in Hyderabad for some time before he passed away. The hospital authorities at AIG confirmed his death.
Nara Rammurthy Naidu was born in 1952 to Nara Karjura Naidu and Ammannamma. He was the second son of the family, with his elder brother being the prominent leader of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), Chandrababu Naidu. Rammurthy Naidu had two children, actor Nara Rohit and Nara Girish.
In 1994, he won the Chandragiri Assembly seat in Chittoor district and served as an MLA until 1999. During his tenure, he was known for his dedication to serving the public. However, due to health issues, he retired from active politics thereafter.
His passing has left the family and political circles in mourning. Rammurthy Naidu’s contributions to the state, particularly in the area of public service, are fondly remembered. His family, including his children, are currently grieving the loss of a beloved father and a dedicated public figure.
