Tirupati, January 9, 2025: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu visited the site of the tragic stampede in Tirupati to assess the situation. Accompanied by several ministers and local leaders, he reviewed the areas surrounding the incident. TTD (Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams) officials briefed the CM about the stampede that occurred on Wednesday, providing him with detailed information.
As the number of devotees continues to rise, CM Chandrababu Naidu questioned the district officials about the measures in place to handle the growing crowds. He reviewed the arrangements made by TTD officials and expressed his anger towards them, as well as the collector and police officers. The CM inquired about the availability of ambulances and stressed the need for precautions to prevent such incidents in the future.
