
Kandukur, February 15, 2025: Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu urged citizens to set aside one day a month for cleanliness as part of the “Swachh Andhra” initiative. During his visit to Kandukur, he launched the Material Recovery Facility Center and joined a sanitation drive at Dubagunta, promoting his “Waste to Wealth” message for healthier surroundings.
He emphasized the collective responsibility of maintaining cleanliness in the state, mentioning the challenge of 85 lakh metric tons of waste in urban areas. CM Naidu assured that the Municipal Department would clear the waste by October 2 and committed to increasing greenery in the state by 50% through waste recycling.
