Amaravati, April 9, 2025: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu laid the foundation stone for his new residence near Road E9, behind the Velagapudi Secretariat. Accompanied by his family, including wife Bhuvaneshwari and son Nara Lokesh, traditional rituals were held at the site. The house will be built on a five-acre plot purchased from a local farmer last December, following a G+1 design, with plans for completion within a year.
The plot is strategically located between the High Court and Secretariat, with roads on all sides. An additional nearby plot was also acquired for security and visitor needs. SRR Constructions will oversee the project, with a focus on maintaining green space. Farmers from Amaravati attended the event, expressing their support for Chandrababu, who greeted them warmly.
