    CM Chandrababu Naidu Honors Ambedkar’s Legacy, Pledges Continued Support for Dalit Welfare

    Ponnekallu, April 14, 2025 – Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu attended the Ambedkar Jayanti celebrations in Ponnekallu, paying tribute to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. He emphasized Ambedkar’s fight against caste discrimination and reiterated the government’s commitment to Dalit welfare, focusing on the Sub-Plan initiative and the revival of the Ambedkar Foreign Education Scheme. CM Naidu assured the Telugu Desam Party’s continuous support for Dalits.

    During his visit, CM Naidu discussed the TDP’s efforts to empower Dalits, such as appointing a Dalit Speaker in the Lok Sabha and distributing 8 lakh acres of land. He highlighted various initiatives, including the establishment of universities in Amaravati, improved residential school facilities, and free electricity for Dalits. CM Naidu also laid the foundation for village development works and interacted with welfare program beneficiaries.
