The Chinese government reiterated its opposition to any form of official ties between the U.S. and Taiwan, emphasizing its “One China” policy. The accusation comes amid growing concerns in China that the U.S. might be moving towards stronger support for Taiwan, which Beijing considers a breakaway province.
