    Chandrababu Orders Full Investigation Into Peddireddy’s Alleged 75-Acre Forest Land Grab

    Amaravati, January 29, 2025: The Andhra Pradesh Government has initiated a comprehensive inquiry into allegations of forest land encroachments involving former minister Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy, accused of occupying approximately 75.75 acres. Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu directed the formation of a Joint Committee, comprising the Chittoor Collector, SP, and Anantapur Conservator of Forests, to investigate the matter. Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan also instructed senior forest officials to thoroughly examine records and submit a detailed report.

    Following preliminary reports from the Punganur constituency, the CM ordered a deeper investigation, expressing dissatisfaction with the initial findings. The Joint Committee is tasked with uncovering evidence of encroachments and possible record manipulations. Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan stressed the need for accountability and pledged stringent action based on the inquiry’s findings.
