ICAI Postponed: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the postponement of the Chartered Accountants (CA) Final Exam scheduled for November 2024, in consideration of the Diwali festival. The revised examination dates for Group 1 will now be November 3, 5, and 7, while Group 2 will take place on November 9, 11, and 13. Previously, the exams were slated for November 1 to 11.
In an official notification, the ICAI stated, “In view of the Diwali (Deepavali) Festival across India, the Chartered Accountants Final Examination for November 2024 stands rescheduled.”
Importantly, the examination schedule for the Chartered Accountants Post Qualification Course(s), including the International Taxation Assessment Test (INTT-AT) and the Insurance and Risk Management (IRM) Technical Examination, remains unchanged. The INTT-AT will occur between November 9 and 11, and the IRM exam will take place on November 5, 7, 9, and 11.
The ICAI also clarified that if any examination day is declared a public holiday by the Central or State Government, there will be no further changes to the schedule. All other details outlined in the Important Announcement dated July 18, 2024, will remain intact.
