New Delhi: The Election Commission on Friday issued a notification for bypolls to seven assembly seats in Rajasthan , starting the nomination process, according to a senior official.
Chief Electoral Officer Naveen Mahajan stated that the notification has been issued for the by-elections to Jhunjhunu, Dausa, Ramgarh, Deoli-Uniate, Khinvsar, Salumbar, and Chaurasi constituencies.
The last date for filing nominations is October 25, with the process taking place at the office of the respective returning officer between 11 am and 3 pm daily, except October 20, a public holiday.
Scrutiny of nominations will occur on October 28, and the withdrawal deadline is October 30. Voting is scheduled for November 13, from 7 am to 6 pm, with the results to be declared on November 23.
