Srinagar: The Bharatiya Janata Party ( BJP ) has secured its first victory in the Jammu & Kashmir elections, with BJP General Secretary and Kashmir Incharge, Sunil Sharma, emerging victorious. Contesting from the Padder-Nagseni constituency, Sharma won the seat by a margin of over 1,200 votes.
