    BREAKING: 4 IndiGo Flights Receive Bomb Threats, Airline Issues Statement

    New Delhi: Amid spate of threats, four IndiGo flights have received fresh bomb threats today, on October 22. These threats have been issued to both national and international flights; the airline has also issued a statement for each of the flights.

    4 IndiGo Flights Receive Bomb Threat

    A total of four IndiGo flights have received bomb threats today, on Tuesday after 30 flights received a bomb threat yesterday. The flights that have received a threat are –

    Flight 6E 614 from Mangaluru to Dubai

    Flight 6E 75 from Ahmedabad to Jeddah

    Flight 6E 67 from Hyderabad to Jeddah

    Flight 6E 118 from Lucknow to Pune

    IndiGo Issues Official Statement

    Following the bomb threats, IndiGo has issued four different statements, one for each flight. The statement for Flight 6E 164 from Mangaluru to Mumbai reads, “Flight 6E 164, operating from Mangaluru to Mumbai, received a security-related alert. All customers were safely disembarked. At IndiGo, the safety and security of our customers and crew remains paramount in all facets of our operations. We worked closely with the relevant authorities, and standard operating procedures were followed. We sincerely regret any inconvenience this situation may have caused our customers and appreciate their understanding.”

    The statement for Flight 6E 75 from Ahmedabad to Jeddah reads, “Flight 6E 75, operating from Ahmedabad to Jeddah, received a security-related alert. Upon landing, the aircraft was taken to the isolation bay and all customers were safely disembarked. At IndiGo, the safety and security of our customers and crew remains paramount in all facets of our operations. We worked closely with the relevant authorities, and standard operating procedures were followed. We sincerely regret any inconvenience this situation may have caused our customers and appreciate their understanding.”

    The statement for Flight 6E 67 from Hyderabad to Jeddah says, “Flight 6E 67, operating from Hyderabad to Jeddah, received a security-related alert. Upon landing, the aircraft was taken to the isolation bay and all customers were safely disembarked. At IndiGo, the safety and security of our customers and crew remains paramount in all facets of our operations. We worked closely with the relevant authorities, and standard operating procedures were followed.     IndiGo has also issued a statement for Flight 6E 118 from Lucknow to Pune which says, “Flight 6E 118, operating from Lucknow to Pune, received a security-related alert. All customers were safely disembarked. At IndiGo, the safety and security of our customers and crew remains paramount in all facets of our operations. We worked closely with the relevant authorities, and standard operating procedures were followed. We sincerely regret any inconvenience this situation may have caused our customers and appreciate their understanding.”
