Chennai, March 22, 2025 – Tamil Nadu BJP President K Annamalai dismissed concerns over the delimitation issue, calling it an “artificial” debate. He stated that the matter is being unnecessarily politicized and clarified that the BJP remains committed to ensuring fair representation for all states. He urged political parties to avoid misleading narratives and focus on development.
Annamalai emphasized that the delimitation process, when undertaken, will be in accordance with constitutional provisions and national interest. He assured that Tamil Nadu’s political and economic interests would be safeguarded, rejecting claims that the state would be disadvantaged.
