New Delhi, April 10, 2025 – The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has decided to reach out to the Muslim community across the country to explain the benefits and objectives of the Waqf Amendment Act. Party leaders stated that the initiative aims to clear misconceptions and ensure transparency regarding the recent amendments, which they say are intended to improve the administration and utilization of Waqf properties for the benefit of the community.
According to BJP sources, community outreach programs, awareness drives, and discussions with religious and social leaders will be organized to build trust and provide clarity on the legal changes. The party emphasized that the move is not politically motivated, but rather focused on inclusive development and safeguarding community interests through better governance mechanisms under the amended Act.
